Watching documentaries of Benz and BMW, I used to think I was fond of mechanical engineering. Working at those factories was my dream job and I had found mechanical engineering paired with working in such places. But it was not before long that I realised nothing was more hateful than engineering to me. It was when I knew how interesting an artistic life would be. I was a university freshman when my uncle gifted my father with a Nikon D3 camera. While my uncle was staying in Iran, I learned rudimentaries of photography from him. It was a big deal to borrow my father's camera but I did it and took photos. Although I knew nothing about photography, my photographs were welcomed by others, and everyone would say your framing is perfect. Now, I just knew that there is a rule in photography named framing. Although I needed to do everything from the scratch, I accepted whatever photography type that I was offered, and much to everyone's surprise, I did it well enough. From concert performance to advertising and industrial photography, and more recently cinema photography for 7 years. I am also experienced in motion graphy and stop motion but I didn't continue because they were not my favourites. I don't want to exaggerate but you will be more attracted by my movie photographs than you will be by the movie itself. I am fond of movies. Each sequence contains thousands of photo frames within which I literally live. I am Mahdi Ghasemi, born in 1992. I am here to share all my experiences with you and pave the way for you so that you won't have to choose incorrect ways and waste your time.
